Through songs, dance, skits, and creative presentations, students showcased their love and appreciation for their mentors who dedicate themselves tirelessly to nurturing young minds.

Madras week 2025

From kolams to kummi, from flavors to heritage — we celebrated 386 years of Namma Chennai with a week full of traditions, culture & joy! The young learners experienced the joy of traditions and culture throughout the celebrations, and it was all made possible thanks to the incredible efforts of our dedicated teachers and the wholehearted support of our parents. Together, they created an atmosphere of joy, learning, and community that made the week truly memorable.

Padma Bhushan Lady Andal 2025

The 22nd Padma Bhushan Lady Andal Memorial Inter-School Sports Tournament and Swimming Meet was held on August 20, 21, and 22, bringing together young athletes from various schools to showcase their talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The closing ceremony was graced by our esteemed Chief Guests, Mr. Neelakantan, Sports In-charge of Lady Andal and Sir Mutha Schools, and Ms. Gajalakshmi, Physical Directress of The Madras Seva Sadan Higher Secondary School. They presented medals and certificates to the winners, applauding their hard work and achievements. The tournament was not just a platform for competition but also a celebration of discipline, perseverance, and the spirit of fair play, leaving students inspired and motivated.

PYP Gourmet fest

The Students of PYP brought the world into our classrooms with vibrant displays, cultural outfits, and global flavors. Each class transformed into a window to a different country, showcasing traditions, cuisines, and cultures with creativity and enthusiasm. It was truly a celebration of diversity, learning, and togetherness — making the day both fun and memorable for everyone involved.

Independence Day 2025

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at our campus. This special occasion was a joint celebration by Lady Andal School, Sir Mutha School, Lady Andal House of Children, and The Madras Seva Sadan Higher Secondary School, symbolizing our shared commitment to unity, patriotism, and pride in India’s rich heritage. The celebration commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony, which was led by our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Kirtida Kale, MYP Coordinator. The cultural programme featured a vibrant blend of patriotic songs, spirited dance performances, and artistic expressions, each highlighting the values of harmony, diversity, and national pride. Students from across the schools participated with enthusiasm, showcasing their talent while also deepening their understanding of India’s journey to independence.

Lit Arc 2025

LitArc 2025: A Celebration of Language, Literature, and Creative Expression Lady Andal School successfully hosted the 5th edition of LitArc, its annual literary fest, bringing together over 200 students from 17 schools for a vibrant and inspiring celebration of literature, language, and self-expression. Aimed at students from Grades 5 to 12, the fest featured a dynamic mix of on-campus and online events that encouraged participants to reimagine literary characters, explore cultural traditions, and blend poetry with performance. Highlights included creative showcases like Once Upon a Trend, dramatic performances such as Therukoothu and Nukkad Natak, and intellectually stimulating events like Declamation, Pattimandram, and Blackout Poetry. Online events such as Swap-It and Photo Story added further depth to the festival, allowing students to engage with storytelling in innovative ways. The fest concluded on a high note, with Adyar Theosophical Society emerging as the Overall Champions, and Gateway International School securing the Runners-Up position. We thank all participating schools for making LitArc 2025 a grand success and look forward to welcoming you again next year — with even more creativity, curiosity, and celebration!

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2025

The Annual Sports meet of Lady Andal school, Sir Mutha School and Lady Andal House of Children, held on 24th July, at the University Union Grounds, Chetpet, was a spirited celebration of athleticism, unity, and school pride. The day began with a vibrant March Past, setting the tone for what followed — three striking drill displays themed ‘Roots of Resilience’, ‘Celebrating Uniqueness’, and ‘One Nation – Many Beats’. Each performance brought its own energy and message, blending strength with creativity and rhythm. The Chief Guest Mr. K.S. Vishwanathan, Managing Director of Chennai Super Kings, inspired the students with his words of encouragement. Cheers filled the air during the Victory March Past and Prize Distribution, with Emerald House proudly taking home the title of Overall Champions.

NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts)

Lady Andal School was abuzz with artistic excitement as we hosted the Visual Spaces Workshop in collaboration with the esteemed Faculty of Art & Design from NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts), Singapore. We were honoured to welcome Mr. Fadzli Jamil and Mr. Jerry Koh from NAFA, who engaged meaningfully with our students and brought fresh global perspectives to the world of art and design. Young artists from schools across Chennai participated in this enriching experience, exploring creativity, design thinking, and artistic expression through hands-on activities and inspiring conversations. It was a day filled with imagination, innovation, and vibrant collaboration — a true celebration of the arts!

LIT ARC - 2024

The fourth edition of Lit Arc was conducted on September 12. The annual literary fest saw a blend of experiential workshops, online activities, and offline competitions. The fest brought together 12 schools for the offline events, while an even larger number participated in the online events, making it a truly collaborative celebration of creativity and expression. Shri Ram Universal School secured the Overall Championship trophy.

Padma Bhushan Lady Andal

21st Padma Bhushan was held on August 21 and 22. P. R. Neeharika, an athlete and alumni of Lady Andal Venkatasubba Rao Matriculation School was the chief guest.

Independence Day 2024

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, featuring a march past by the students along with vibrant music and dance performances by the students of Lady Andal School, Sir Mutha School and the Madras Seva Sadan School. Aditya Varma, the HR Head, graced the occasion as the chief guest, adding to the significance of the event.
