International Mindedness

International Mindedness is a core principle of the International Baccalaureate emphasizing an understanding of the interconnectedness of the world, cultural awareness and responsible global citizenship. International mindedness is not just about knowledge of global issues but also fosters attributes that empower individuals to engage with the world in an informed and respectful way.

Globalism

At Lady Andal School, we foster International mindedness amongst all our students, by fostering learning that showcases a deeper understanding of culture and personal identities.

Multilingualism

We introduce multiple languages starting in the elementary years, helping our students overcome cultural barriers and fostering respectful interactions with a global audience.

Heritage

The mother tongue is essential for understanding and preserving cultural identity. At our school, we celebrate this through vibrant festivals and events that honour our linguistic heritage. These include Mother Language Day celebrations, Lit Arc, and Courtyard Story Days, which we observe with great enthusiasm.

Empathy

At Lady Andal School we are committed to developing empathy in our students, guiding them away from a mindset of economic superiority and elitism. Through our Service as Action Projects, students engage with the local community, actively participating in projects that address social needs and promote inclusivity.
